X-ring guide set for Yokomo [HRC000068]
No matter how high-performance the shaft, if the damper's initial movement is stiff, or
even if it moves smoothly but has low durability and air gets trapped in the oil chamber every time, making it "squishy,"
or even worse, if it leaks oil, it's pointless!
To solve these problems, this product was developed
to allow you to use the Nerd damper comfortably ! The rod guide, which can cause air to get trapped , is made with attention to dimensions and material, and is manufactured by high-precision machining. Selected X-rings are used . The damper uses an X-type ring, which has excellent sealing properties because there is less possibility of twisting in the groove during reciprocating motion and the contact pressure is evenly distributed across the entire cross-section. To prevent the damper rod from becoming stiff, attention has been paid to both the lip shape and material, ensuring excellent durability and expandability. Two types of TRF-specific guide spacers are available, differing by 0.05 mm. Attention has also been paid to the treatment of the inner diameter, and guide thicknesses are available in HRC X-ring guide set TRF type 1 (1.7 mm) and HRC X-ring guide set TRF type 2 (1.75 mm) . This allows for 0.05mm differences that are difficult to adjust with shims. Depending on the cylinder manufacturer you use, if you are using Nerd dampers, please start by using the "HRC X-ring guide set TRF type 1 (1.7mm)". If you experience oil leaks or air bubbles with 1.7mm, or if you want a slightly tighter setting, please use the "HRC X-ring guide set TRF type 2 (1.75mm)". *For damper oil, we recommend "HRC Nd oil" mineral oil, which is specifically for Nerd dampers. *For damper cylinders, we recommend "TRF HL cylinder" or "Yokomo SLF Big Bore Shock Cylinder"
