HPI Stage-D10 Creator Edition HPI-161000 is a pre-assembled 1/10 scale 2WD RWD drift chassis, ready for your choice of body, wheels, tyres and electronics. Built to the same specification as the Stage-D10 RTR chassis, this platform gives newcomers a proven starting point while offering experienced drifters extensive scope for development. Its adjustable suspension geometry, steering and drivetrain let you refine the car as your driving progresses, without requiring a long list of option parts from the outset. The chassis is supplied assembled, so you can concentrate on choosing the electronics and appearance for your own drift build.
Adjustable Drift Platform
The Stage-D10 is designed around setup flexibility. Front and rear camber links, toe block options, roll centre and camber gain positions help you tune the suspension response. Fully adjustable Ackermann geometry and four servo mounting positions provide further control over steering behaviour. Threaded, oil-filled coilover shocks make ride height and spring preload adjustments straightforward, while optional sway bar mounting points offer additional tuning potential.
Shorty battery packs can be positioned in the middle or rear of the chassis to help you explore different weight distribution settings. The rear gearbox supports more than 100 motor positions, three- or four-gear configurations and reversible motor direction, creating over 200 drivetrain combinations. A sealed composite geared rear differential and 2.6 internal FDR complete the drivetrain.
Scale-focused details include rotating front and rear brake disc adaptors, adjustable or removable brake calipers and HPI’s magnetic body mounting system using N52 magnets and steel ball mounts. Conventional body post mounting and an Aerocatch-style screw-lock option are also included. Suggested compatibility includes 1/10 scale 190 or 200 mm touring car bodies, wheels and drift tyres, subject to the chosen setup.
